THE BEER
Pouring burnt sienna with ruby highlights, this rich, toasty strong lager has picked up layers of colour, aroma and flavour from its time in a red wine barrel.
Notes of raisin, fig and over-ripe fruit dominate the aroma, while the palate is redolent of stewed berries, malt loaf, and blackcurrant jam on toast.
This barrel-aged bock finishes light and snappy, with boozy warmth balanced by tannins.
