A Further Update to Our Services...

Last week, we announced the launch of our new home delivery service, which would keep our Brasserie running despite the imminent closure of bars and restaurants. We did this to allow us to keep trading, in the hope of retaining staff and continuing to pay their wages, for as long as possible.

Now that the government have announced safety measures, to protect the income of those whose employers are unable to offer them work during this pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to suspend home delivery of food indefinitely.

Our team did an exceptional job of pulling together this service at short notice, and we’re very proud of them. When we are able to open our doors again, we will reinstate food delivery in some form. But to ask them to continue to come in, and increase their risk of exposure to covid-19, is no longer fair.

Despite the team now being furloughed with government support, they are donating their time to support the NHS. Our Brasserie team have already prepped and delivered 150 meals to the Royal Infirmary and Gartnavel hospitals. If our suppliers are willing to donate food, they’ll continue to prep meals for the NHS for as long as possible, as well as for other people who might need support right now.

Meanwhile, our online shop will continue to operate on a delivery-only service, with new releases due soon. If you’d like to continue to support us, you’ll still be able to find our small batch beer online, and our core range beers in supermarkets.

Be kind, stay indoors, and wash your goddamn hands.

Team Drygate x
