Strathclyde University Big Band
We're delighted to welcome the Strathclyde University Big Band back under our Seven Peaks, one of only a few long-standing University-based Big Bands in the UK.
Since 1978 "The SUBB" has established a reputation for playing varied, challenging & evocative music while attracting incredible musicians into it's ranks including notable alumni Tom MacNiven, Paul Towndrow, Konrad Wiszniewski and Alyn Cosker.
Joined on stage by the wonderful Unoma Okudo Music, be prepared for well-known standards alongside jazz-oriented arrangements from legends including John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk & Charlie Parker.
